FEMINITY WITH BERTHE MORISOT AT MARMOTTAN

"Finesse" would say the French. Berthe MORISOT had a keen eye on women's nexk and shoulders, painting it with delicacy, with tenderness.

Charming naiveté of a young girl, looking at the painter straight in the eye .

Fresh, light, diaphanous.

Berthe had no fear of colour either .

For a delightful moment, may I suggest a ambly walk through the Ranelagh Garden (see the i-phone application Fan du 16e for a superb description with great pictures), and then give yourself a treat with Berthe MORISOT at the MARMOTTAN-MONET MUSEUM.

Till July 1st, 2012, from Tuesday to Sunday 10am -6pm, and on Thursday late night till 8pm.
