And as usual, Le GRAND PALAIS is the theater of one of the best art events worldwide, XXXXL version, with MONUMENTA 2012.
BUREN stroke again !
Daniel BUREN, ( yes, the very one, the one who created a real havoc at the Palais Royal with his black and white columns) , once he realized that everything in the Grand Palais revolves around a circle, and obviously the whole iron building has been created with a compass as base, started drawing circles of colours, so as to keep the lightness of the building, with the sun coming through.
True that once inside, you feel somewhat still outside, you hear the pounding rain on the glass roof, you see the clouds dash through Paris’s sky, even the colour of the sky has an impact inside the huge building.
