A DROP OF COLOURED INK AT LOUIS VUITTON

LOUIS VUITTON famous since 1856 for his art of travelling is the first to launch a “ Cabinet d’Ecriture”. Hey, don’t you know that noone every writes anymore, Louis ? We’re in texto world, email world, damn you !

At the very heart of Saint Germain des Prés,( at number 6) so well known for its literary life, think Simone de Beauvoir and Sartre, Marguerite Duras and Françoise Sagan, Louis Vuitton opened a one of a kind store, unique in the world, a hymn to the art of writing.

Luxurious stationnery, ink bottles carved in crystal, pens clothed in 15 different alligator skins, leather notebooks and pads, 15 colours of ink. All you can think of to write down your memories or to send a love note are elegantly displayed in cabinets.
